How to Upgrade/Downgrade your RAMShard service

Log in to the RAMShard Client Area: my.ramshard.com

From the main page of your Client Area, click on the Services box.



Select the game server you wish to upgrade or downgrade from the My Products and Services page.



Under the Actions section, click Upgrade/Downgrade.



On the Upgrade/Downgrade page, locate the plan you want to upgrade/downgrade to and select the billing cycle that you want to pay the server for. By default, monthly cycle is selected on the dropdown menu.

For this example, we're upgrading our Chicken Plan (2GB RAM) server to the Pig Plan (3GB RAM) and selected a 3-month billing cycle. This means, the server will be upgraded from 2GB to 3GB of RAM in total and for 3 months.



Once you've selected the billing cycle for the upgrade/downgrade plan you want, click Choose Product.



You will be directed to the billing/payment page to complete your server upgrade/downgrade order. Once the payment is complete (for upgrades), the changes should take effect immediately.

Can I upgrade/downgrade anytime?

Yes, upgrading or downgrading your server is accessible to you through the client area so you can upgrade/downgrade your server anytime!

When will the upgrade/downgrade take effect?

Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately. You can check from the RAMShard control panel if the server has the correct amount of RAM that you've upgraded or downgraded to under the Memory section.



If your control panel doesn't show the correct amount of RAM that you upgraded/downgraded to, contact us via ticket or chat to have this corrected.
