How to Change Your Server Description, Header Image and URL
To change your server description, header image and URL, you can follow these steps:
Stop your server, navigate to Files > FTP File Access and log in using your control panel password.
Under /server/my_server_identity/cfg, create a new file called server.cfg.
Only create the file if you do not have one.
If you do not have the following lines, add them:
server.url "link-to-your-website"
server.description "Your description here"
server.headerimage "link-to-your-header-image"
Save the file and start your server.
Ensure you use your server identity. You set this in your Rust Server Settings. Default is my_server_identity.
After the server starts up, you should see the description, image and website button show up when you click on the server in the server list.
If you completed these steps with the game running and the server does not show anything, restart your game and they should appear.
