How to Reset Your Server

Resetting your server is the process of deleting all your server files. This is super useful when you want to have a fresh start for your server.

Important Reminders:

Resetting your server deletes ALL files on your server.
This process cannot be reversed. We cannot restore files for you after a server is reset.
It is recommended to create a full server backup BEFORE resetting your server.
RAMShard will not be responsible for any loss of server files/data once you reset your server.

How to Reset Your Server

Access your server control panel: RAMShard Server Control Panel

From the side menu of your control panel, navigate to Files > Setup.

On the Setup page, click on the Templates dropdown menu and select (Action) Reset/Delete Server Files (Also tick "Delete All Server Files").

Check the Delete All Server Files checkbox.

Enter your control panel password and click Apply.
Do NOT check the Run Setup on every server restart

If you entered the correct password, the Setup page should look similar to what's shown below.

Start / Restart your server.

How to Confirm a Successful Server Reset

If the reset was successful you should see a Cleanup completed message in your server console.

That's it! Your server has now been reset.
