How do I set my server to offline mode?

We strongly suggest only turning off online mode if explicitly needed. As disabling it makes the server less secure against hackers.

Disabling online mode is for anyone that plays Minecraft on a cracked client. Which is when you do not pay for the game.

There are two ways you can disable online mode. You can either do this from the config files section of the control panel or from the server.properties file.

The first way is through the config files option. For this, you will want to locate the left sidebar menu.
Once you have located the sidebar menu, you will want to look for the Files option. You will want to click on that, it will drop down to many more options.
You can then select the Config Files choice.

Once you are in the Config FIles section of the control panel. You will see at the top of the list, Server Settings.
This is where the online mode configuration is. Go ahead and click into it.
You will see that the online mode option has a drop down box. Upon clicking on it, you will see the disabled option. You will want to select that option.

Once you have it set to the disabled option, you will want to scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the big blue save button.
After clicking the save button, you will want to restart your server for this to take effect.

For the second option to set this you will want to head to the FTP File Access. To get there, you will want to click on the Files dropdown on the left sidebar menu.
You will then want to click the FTP File Access option.

Once on that page, go ahead and log in. Now that you are logged into the FTP File Access, you will want to locate the server.properties file.
Once you find it, you will see an edit button to the very right side of the name.

Once you are in the editor, you will want to find the option for online-mode. If you cannot find it, you can use Ctrl + F to search for it.
If you are on Mac, you can use Command + F to find it. Be sure to be clicked into the file editor when using this search option.

When you locate the online-mode option, go ahead and set it from true to false

Below, you will see a before and after.

After

Once you set online-mode to false, go ahead and click the blue save button to the upper left.
You will now want to restart your server for this to take effect.

That is how you disable online mode to allow cracked clients to join your server! If you need any further help with this, you can submit a chat request and ask for help.
