How to Use a Custom JAR on Your Minecraft Server

Access your server control panel: RAMShard Server Control Panel

Stop your server.

On the same page of your control panel, click the Server Type dropdown option.

Search and select the Custom JAR option.

You may choose other available custom JAR options depending on the Java version requirement.

From the side menu of your control panel, navigate to Files > FTP File Access.

Enter your control panel password in the Multicraft Password textbox. Then, click Login.

On the left-side menu, click Upload.

Under the Files section, click Choose Files and select your server JAR file. Then, click Submit.

If the file size of your server JAR is more than 16 MB, you have to upload using an FTP client such as FileZilla. Learn more: Getting Started with FileZilla

Locate your custom JAR from the server directory and click the checkbox next to it.

Once you have selected the server JAR, click Rename.

Rename the JAR file to custom.jar then click Submit.

The server JAR file name must exactly be custom.jar and all in lowercase. Not using the exact name will cause the custom JAR to not be recognized.

Start your server.
