Getting started with SpongeForge

What is SpongeForge? Well, SpongeForge is a new way to run plugins and mods.
You cannot use just any plugin, there are specially made plugins for SpongeForge.

SpongeForge Currently Supports The Following Versions:



1.10.2
1.11
1.11.2
1.12
1.12.1
1.12.2

You would want to use the recommended versions from SpongeForge.
Using SpongeForge also will require you to use the version of Forge as stated on their page.





Starting off, you will need to install the Forge version to your server as stated on the SpongeForge site.

Once you get the correct Forge version installed, you will want to restart the server.
You can proceed to install the SpongeForge to your server. Doing this is as simple as a drag and drop.

The SpongeForge jar file that you downloaded can then be uploaded to the servers mods folder via an FTP client like FileZilla.

Upon uploading the SpongeForge jar file to the server, you will want to restart the server.

You can then go on and add the plugins that you would like.
The plugins can be added directly to the mods folder as well.

When adding more plugins, be sure that you reboot the server as well after adding them.
